Creating Lasting Indigenous Opportunity

The Calleo Indigenous Community Fund (CICF) supports Indigenous-led initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Established in 2019, the Fund invests in programs that strengthen communities, expand pathways to education and employment, and empower the next generation of Indigenous leaders. Today, the Fund supports 23 projects across Australia, helping create opportunities that deliver measurable outcomes for individuals, families and communities.

Investing in What Matters

The CICF focuses its support across five key pillars that contribute to long-term community outcomes:

Education and Training
Sports Development

Delivering Real Impact

The CICF is designed to create impact that is measurable, sustainable and community-led. To date, the Fund has awarded more than $1.8 million in grants, with a further $2.7 million committed through to 2028. In FY25 alone, $462,000 was allocated to Indigenous initiatives across our funding pillars. As the Calleo Indigenous business grows, so too does the Fund's capacity to support the initiatives and organisations creating meaningful change across Australia.

Governance led, Indigenous inclusive

To ensure responsible management, our Calleo Indigenous Community Fund is administered by a Development Advisory Committee and overseen by our Board of Directors. With Indigenous participation and perspectives included at every stage, we stay true to the ethos of “nothing for us, without us”.
