Our Federal Government client is seeking a Senior Research Data Analyst to enhance business decision-making by working with stakeholders to understand their needs, conducting research and extracting relevant data, performing analyses, and delivering reports to technical and non-technical audiences.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Experience undertaking data analysis, reporting, research or evaluation activities, including the application of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, prepare, analyse and interpret information from multiple sources.
- Ability to develop and maintain datasets, data models, measures, indicators or other analytical products that support evidence-informed decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, briefs and presentations for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently under limited direction and deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
