This role delivers strategic communications that inform and engage diverse audiences, support key government priorities, and strengthen stakeholder relationships. It involves developing communication materials, coordinating messaging across partners, maintaining digital channels, and ensuring communications are consistent, effective, and aligned with established standards.
 
Duties
  • Drive strategic communications and engagement initiatives.
  • Create compelling content across multiple channels.
  • Build strong partnerships to maximise communication opportunities.
  • Ensure clear, consistent and on-brand messaging.
  • Manage and grow social media presence and engagement.
  • Deliver impactful digital, multimedia and storytelling content.
 
Skills & experience
  • Strategic communications expert with a flair for impactful storytelling.
  • Outstanding writer capable of turning complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Skilled relationship-builder who thrives on stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
  • Social media savvy, with experience driving audience growth and engagement.
  • Creative content producer with strong design and digital communication skills.
  • Highly organised self-starter who delivers quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
 
To be eligible for this role candidates must hold, at a minimum, a Negative Vetting 1 clearance
