About the role
The Training Specialist will be responsible for delivering engaging training and learning programs that help staff and stakeholders understand and adopt new legislation, processes and systems. They will develop clear learning materials, facilitate workshops, and work with subject matter experts to build capability and support successful change.
 
Duties
  • Deliver training, workshops and briefings to support the adoption of legislative, business process and ICT system changes.
  • Facilitate engaging virtual and face-to-face learning experiences tailored to diverse audiences and learning needs.
  • Collaborate with business areas and subject matter experts to translate complex information into practical learning solutions.
  • Develop and deliver clear, accessible training materials, programs and educational resources across multiple formats.
  • Build stakeholder capability through interactive learning environments that encourage participation, confidence and knowledge retention.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness, analyse learner feedback and contribute to continuous improvement and successful reform implementation.

Skills & experience

  • Experience delivering engaging training, workshops and learning programs.
  • Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex policy, legislative, business process and ICT system information.
  • Experience developing training materials using adult learning principles.
  • Ability to evaluate training outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong organisational skills, with experience managing priorities and working with subject matter experts.
 
Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only who hold a Baseline Security Clearance.
